The applicant, Craven Thompson & Associates, on behalf of the City of Dania Beach is requesting site plan approval for the Dania Beach Municipal Marina located at 101 N Beach Road.

Description of Action

On April 25, 2011, the City entered into an agreement with Craven Thompson & Associates, Inc. to redesign the City’s municipal marina.  Subsequently, the applicant submitted a site plan application for a new 1,251 square foot dockmaster building, air conditioned restrooms with a laundry facility, a 1,500 square foot open air picnic pavilion, charcoal barbeque grills, a 100 square foot fish cleaning pavilion, three gateway kiosks,  and 122 new floating docks.  In addition, the site plan provides enhanced landscaping and the applicant will upgrade the existing signage at time of permitting.
